The Easter Bunny visits Manassas

Happy Easter, everyone! I realize it was yesterday, but cut me some slack- I didn't want to spend Easter Sunday updating the blog.

We dyed Easter eggs on Saturday, and of course they are Star Wars-themed (what else?). They're actually pretty cool and I got two more of the kits today on clearance at Target. I also got a bunch of candy on clearance, but that's a different story.

Sunday morning Ethan got up and his basket was waiting for him on the floor of his room. It's pretty basic stuff, but there was a snow trooper in there, which you will notice Ethan clinging to for dear life in all the photos. We hid plastic candy-filled eggs all throughout the downstairs and Ethan had a blast finding them and putting them in the basket. He couldn't carry the basket with him because he needed one hand to pick up the eggs and the other to carry said SW figure. Classic.

So here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy. Oh, and thanks Grandma K for the adorable shirt/vest combo. It made for the perfect Easter outfit!

P.S. the vet just called and said Jabba made it through his big snip snip without incident. The first thing she said was "He is just the cutest little thing!" Yeah, we know.

P.P.S. Paul got released as Scoutmaster yesterday. Can you hear the Halleluia Chorus playing in the background?

that's C3PO, Darth Vader, R2D2 and Yoda for those whose Star Wars trivia is a little rusty

Didn't you see us do the wave when Paul was released yesterday? We're excited that he's free! Great Easter pics too.
