My latest project

So, as you all know, we have but two bedrooms in our house. Which means Sadie does not get a nursery to call her own. Which makes me terribly sad because I would have so much fun decorating it, but... what are you gonna do, right? Nesting instinct is beginning to kick in full force, so I had to do something for her, make a little nook that is hers. We are thinking that her bassinet will go where the computer desk is now (where all that stuff will go has yet to be resolved), so I decided to make a little something to make it feel more home-y for her (like she cares, I know, but I couldn't help myself).

So anyway, last month at our ward craft night we made these adorable letters that you decoupage with scrapbook paper. I made S-N-O-W with really pretty red and white snowflake paper and they turned out really well. I like them so much that I made some for Miss Sadie! I really like pink and brown together, and mixing and matching styles/patterns, so I chose this super cool brown/pink/green/purple paisley paper and a simple pink and white stripe. And voila! I think they look adorable! Paul's first reaction was "I really hope it's a girl." To which I replied "If it's not a girl, these little letters are the least of our worries!"
