So this is Christmas

Howdy, y'all! Can you believe Christmas is in two days? I can't. I also can't believe my sweet baby Rebecca is a month old (and a few days). Wow. Totally didn't see that one coming. What is everyone doing for Christmas? We've got Paul's parents and two of his brothers staying with us- a full house indeed! We are so excited to have family in town; it's been three years since we've spent Christmas with anyone so it should be loads of fun. The kids can't wait for Santa to visit!

So here's what we've been up to the last few days:

The Snows brought Uno cards and taught the kids how to play. Sadie's working on her poker face.

On Sunday night we made gingerbread houses. Ethan decided that one of them would be for looking at and one would be for eating. But only the "kids" are allowed to eat the eating one. Hmm.

Jabba has a new best friend: Paul's brother Kevin. Jabba always wants to sit by him and is constantly licking his face. We're trying to figure out a way for Jabba to go home with him. (just kidding!)

And a few pics I took of Bex on Sunday- her one-month "birthday!"

Look at this precious blanket my awesome friend Melanie made for Becca! It is so soft and warm, I LOVE it! It's my new favorite swaddling blanket.

Hello cutie pie!!

Happy birthday, Paul!

We celebrated Paul's birthday yesterday- the big 3-0! He requested manicotti for dinner with a carrot cake for his birthday cake. His family arrived late last night to party with us and hang out until Christmas, so it should be a fun week!

And a few random shots of our beautiful baby Bex. I absolutely CANNOT believe she will be a month old tomorrow. HOW did that happen???

Look at this super cute outfit from Auntie Claudia!

The snow piles in our yard are offically higher than our 5 yr old son.

We love snow in this house. After clearing the driveway, I took the kids out sledding. We built a snow fort and will likely be spending most of the day in it defending the house from bounty hunters (e.g. Star Wars characters). Love it.
