Nifty nifty, look who's...

... five months old. Wow, that joke really broke down quickly.

Anywho, it's true- our sweet Rebecca is five months old today. I don't know where she gets the nerve, growing up. Who said she was allowed to do that? I'm pretty sure neither of us gave her permission. Rebelling already.

I finally remembered to take pictures, so here they are. I am so completely and totally in love. Look at this precious angel. I love having a baby around.

getting cranky; she took a three-hour nap right after this picture was taken!

LOVE this one

Eeeeeeeeexcellent

I just want to nuzzle my face in her chins- such a sweetie!

Ethan's new haircut; doesn't he look handsome?

Sadie got a haircut today too. Both of them were so well behaved at the barber shop!

Easter and other total randomness

Can you tell it's been a really long time since I've updated the blog?

So, we don't lead super exciting lives or anything, but here's what's been going on the last few weeks:
I made a cake for my friend's birthday

Ethan was a "humming fish" in his preschool's production of Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax"

I wasn't sure how best to create an orange fish costume, so I just bought some cheap-o orange clothes at a consignment shop and then glued on strips of shiny "scales." He seemed to like it, so I guess that's all that matters.

I got a haircut

Sadie got a big box of cute hand-me-downs from Aunt Claudia

Oh, and we celebrated Easter! The Bunny left a bunch of eggs downstairs for the kids to find on Easter morning

Look at my sweet haul, Mom!

Okay, I think that catches us up. Told you it wasn't very interesting.

Sadie turned two!

Like a month ago. Woops.

Well, it was fun anyway. Grandma K was here to celebrate with us and we had a blast with her. Let's recap:

Here is Sadie at 8:24 a.m., exactly two years old!

her Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday cake

she got this adorable bear from my parents

MMC book from Paul's parents

she was loving this whole "unwrapping" thing

She had a most excellent birthday. And now that she's two, she feels the need to act the part. Oh Sadie... you're lucky we love you so much.
